Job Description

Responsible for ensuring that Networks, CCTV, Sound, Accounting & POS systems at all complexes are fully functional and that businesses in the respective complexes run efficiently to attain predetermined profitability standards. Also responsible for installing and maintaining computer hardware, software, networks and software maintenance.

Key duties responsibilities among others will be:-

Advice the company on IT policy and strategy including emerging IT trends

Manage and supervise vendors and IT service providers ensuring cost benefit analysis

Review and prioritize all the IT systems needs

Ensure new operation plans, policies, procedures and transition/ migration plans are consistent with the overall IT goals and objective

Trouble shoot both hardware, software and network infrastructure

Ensure routine maintenance on all computers and computer related equipment

Oversee the implementation of new ICT projects / systems

Administer servers, networks management (WAN, LAN, BROADBAND)

Install and deploy system and application software for the company

Be familiar with hardware, software and network operating system

Maintain accurate and current inventory of technology hardware, software and resources

Load all required software

AD management

Implement company information cyber security policy – Advice staff on security breach and/or change in password or security status

Ensure hardware is stripped and secured before disposal

Implement and management company password policy

Ensure installation and effective servicing of computers with all the computers’ peripherals being active prior to signing any document from suppliers

Ensure repairs of the office ICT machine/equipment are carried out in a cost effective manner in liaison with ICT Manager

Ensure all shop managers and other key leaders are regularly informed of the system changes which should then be cascaded to other levels

Assist in solving problems which inhibit efficient system operation within a brand or create friction between brand units

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or its equivalent from a recognized university. At least 3 years of work experience as a system Administrator in an organization of similar size and complexity. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of contemporary ICT trends. Be of exemplary integrity and honesty. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
