Job Description
In this role, you will be ensuring the efficient handling, delivery, and quality control of technology equipment. This position is responsible for loading and unloading items, maintaining accurate inventory, and upholding an organized and functional warehouse environment. By delivering exceptional service and reliable support, the Warehouse and Delivery Specialist contributes to strengthening client relationships and enhancing overall service quality. This role promotes a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement while fostering teamwork and a commitment to excellence. The position reports directly to the Warehouse Specialist.
What will you do:
- Equipment Handling – Anticipate and address equipment issues or last-minute changes with professionalism and efficiency. Load, unload, and transport technology safely to designated locations, securing all items properly.
- Inventory and Quality Control – Manage inventory by following proper procedures, conducting regular counts, and maintaining accurate records. Prepare, inspect, and test equipment to ensure it meets delivery timelines and quality standards.
- Warehouse Operations – Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Receive, stock, and distribute equipment to support inventory needs while following all safety procedures.
- Team Support – Provide outstanding service to both internal and external clients by responding promptly and professionally. Utilize company systems for scheduling, tracking, and inventory management tasks.
- Physical Requirements – Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and maneuver up to 50 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance.
- Accountability and Communication – Remain adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines while maintaining a collaborative mindset. Communicate with staff and vendors about deliveries and support daily operations by attending meetings and collaborating with the team.
- Technology Knowledge – Strong understanding of technology, with the ability to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain audiovisual and related equipment efficiently.
What are We looking for:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- The ability to operate a forklift is required.
- Job-related experience is a plus.
- A valid driver’s license is necessary.
- Proficiency with computer hardware, as well as software and programs, is required.
- Effective leadership abilities and a focus on customer satisfaction are important.
- Sales or retail experience is a plus.
- Clear communication with clients, venues, and internal teams.
- Organization of the Warehouse and all of its moving parts.
